- One small yellow onion
- olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic
- One pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1-2 cans cream style corn
- 5 medium potatoes
- butter
- half and half
- garlic powder
- salt/pepper
Instructions
- Chop small onion and sauté in olive oil until soft.
- Add two cloves of garlic, minced. Sauté for 2 minutes.
- Add ground beef and cook until no pink remains.
- Drain any excess grease.
- Add 2 tbs of Worcestershire sauce and salt/pepper to taste
- Add 1 -2 cans cream style corn (depending on preference)
- Boil the peeled and chopped potatoes until they are soft.
- Drain the potatoes
- Add butter, half & half, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mash the potatoes until smooth.
- Pour the meat/corn mixture into a casserole dish (9" square or equivalent)
- Top it with the mashed potatoes.
- Bake at 350º F until the meat is bubbling and the potatoes are golden (30 min)
